Instructions to Applicants:
- The admissions are done only online for the academic year 2026-2027 and it is purely based on merit.
- For admission to U.G. Programmes, preference will be given to those who are aged above 17 years and below 40 years. The upper age limit for admission to U.G courses will be 40 yrs as on 1-7-2026.SC / ST / BC / MBC / DNC candidates and women candidates may be allowed the age relaxation of 3 years beyond 40 years for admission into UG courses.Relaxation to Differently Abled & Transgender candidates is 5 years.
- Admission to B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology) programmes is restricted to those who have studied the relevant subjects at the HSC level.
- For admission to B.Com. preference will be given to those who have studied Accountancy and Commerce at the HSC level (Academic Stream).
- Admission to B.A. (Tamil/English) programmes will be based on the marks scored in Tamil/English in HSC.
- Applicants having studied any subject in HSC can apply for B.A (Economics).
- For BCA Programme, 2/3 of seats are reserved for students who have studied Computer Science as a subject in HSC (Plus Two) and 1/3 of seats are for students who have not studied Computer Science in HSC (Plus Two) and should have studied Mathematics.
Online Application Procedure:
- Kindly ensure that the information you enter within the Applicant Portal is in English Language/Characters only.
- Candidates must apply online through the ‘Apply Online’ link available in the Website: http://vkc.edu.in/admission
- Applicants shall read all the Instructions carefully before Applying.
- Applicants will receive an OTP confirmation SMS in the Mobile number used for registration.
- All further communications (Username, Password, Application Number, Admission notification, Payment communications, etc.) shall be sent only to the registered mobile number.
- Applicants can login using their
- Username: Registered Mobile Number
- Password: (sent to your mobile)
allotted at the time of registration to enter and upload other details
- The applicants can select multiple programmes, however application fee should be paid for each programme.
- The Application number & Register Number allotted to the candidate is not transferable.
- Candidates must upload the following documents:
- Recent Passport size photo
- SSLC Marks statement (Age Proof)
- Community Certificate (mandatory for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/SCA/ST)
- Aadhar Card (for Indian) / Passport (for non-Indian)
- Certificate of proof when admission is sought under some special quota / concessions - like Differently Abled / Sports / Ex-Service Man / NCC/ Tamil origin from Andaman and Nicobar Island etc.
- 12th Marks Statement
- Incomplete application form without relevant documents will not be considered for admission.
- Hard copy of the application is not acceptable.
- Candidates selected for admission will be intimated through SMS and make payment through their respective logins.
- Candidates need not come to the campus regarding admission. For any clarifications contact through college official Landline number (04652-270245) in the college working hours (10 am to 4 pm)
- Provisional admission will be made only after receiving the payment of Admission Fees within the stipulated time through online.
- All original certificates should be handed over to the College Office on a date specified by the College and ONLY AFTER PHYSICAL VERIFICATION OF THE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES THE ADMISSION WILL BE CONFIRMED.
- SC/SCA/ST applicants can avail free applications online by uploading their Community Certificate.
- Any kind of false information given at the time of applying will lead to cancellation of admission and any fees paid will not be refunded
- Since hostel accommodations are also limited, it will be filled on First Come.Contact the College Office for Hostel Admission.
